View Full Version : This is weird...
So I've got a bunch of little white blisters on my tongue about 1/4" circle at the tip and a few other places on my tongue.
I've gotten these before, when I've drank super hot drinks or food. You know the ones I 'm talking about- they drive you nuts you almost want to chew them off?
Well I've been eating raw(100%) for 1 week now- do you think this is a detox reaction?!?
Thoughts/opinions welcome.
Thanks.

Lara - I get the same type of little blister if I eat walnuts, strawberries, some peppers, and pecans. :) You might be reacting from a food allergy.

I get it from cashews & on the roof of my mouth. Keep a food diary to see if it shows up again.

Yes some foods react in the mouth. I would do something to balance it out. Rinsing with non aluminum baking soad and water or even a mild salt water rinse often until it is gone. Or coconut oil spoonful swished round.
It will be ok and will go away.

Are you eating a lot of salty/acidic foods? My husband is very sensitive to tomatoes and lemons and that kind of thing. He gets this type of reaction on his tongue if he eats these foods.

As a matter of fact, I am eating LOTS of tomatoes and lemons! I love the combo. I will start tracking what I'm eating to see what's happening.
