I just saw some funny trailer snippets from a wonderful new Raw Food oriented documentary called
May I Be Frank

Here's one description;
The film chronicles the experiences of a 54 year old obese drug addict who is talked into taking a 42 day raw food journey! He cures himself of Hep-C by "accident," proving that the whole theory on Hep-C is a bunch of hogwash, and that it is actually just liver toxicity.

Another Film Description: "What happens when 54 year old Sicilian from Brooklyn, with a history of drug and alcohol abuse, bad eating, taking multiple medications for depression, fighting to cure himself of Hep-C meets 3 young raw vegan hipsters from San Francisco, who take him on a journey of self-discovery, self-love and ultimately transforming his life and relationship to himself?"

I found trailer snippets on the web, but am not sure if I am allowed to post the link. If anyone wants the links feel free to email me. I look forward to being able to see it, it looks really moving. Don't think it is available yet.
Maybe someone else here on RFT knows more...

from what I have read, I can't make out if the film is a movie in documentary style or if it's actually a documentary.

For anyone who'll be in northern California, there will be a showing of this movie at Cafe Gratitude in Healdsburg on November 9th.

And the star of the movie, Frank, is supposed to be there!

That's Neat. I hope you are going to be able to go, Angelique.

I wish I lived out West. So many wonderful Raw food events happen out there.

Let us know your thoughts if you are able to attend.

Peace,

Elena
