I started juicing daily again, and I just bought a vitamax for smoothies and soups etc. I use both of them daily, how about you?
I try to juice daily, but sometimes find the cleanup time prohibitive.
Having said that, I almost always have a smoothie every day - they are so quick to make and to clean up after, and so very healthy, that I really miss not having one on the rare occasions when time gets the better of me.
I'm glad you have made the decision to juice and blend daily - it is undoubtedly a very healthy thing to do. It takes discipline but, IMHO, it is extremely worthwhile.

I have one or two green smoothies daily, but hardly ever juice anymore. Never really liked juice much, so the green smoothies are right up my alley unless I decide to do a juice fast or something.

I haven't make a green smoothie yet, but I am looking forward to finding a good receipe try.
I agree the vita-mixer is soooo easy to use and cleanup vs the juicer, but for right now I am doing vegetables in the jucier and fruits in the vita-mixer.
One of my favorite vegetable juices is:
Carrots
Basil
Parsely
Cucumber
Totmato
Peppers

I usually make a fruit smoothie everyday for breakfast, or before I go to work in the afternoon. I make my smoothies with 1 banana, 1 orange, and a handfull of strawberries. I've been having this smoothie 5-6 days week since the beginning of June, and I still love it!
I tried making green smoothies back in July, but I didn't like them.

Love my Banana smoothies in the morning and occasionally I have a green smoothie instead. I do this every morning.
I have been juicing for the past week:
Carrots, apples, cucumbers, and celery- My pre-lunch treat!

I am a smoothie kinda gal! I think I could live on them, I usually add some greens but if I just want a sweet treat I add dates along with the fruit. I have a smoothie for breakfast almost daily and usually another later in the day.
I go through phases that I juice, sometimes it tastes good to me and sometimes it doesn't. The clean up time is usually what stops me, so I just have at least one salad a day to get those additional greens in.
I ordered a Vita-Mix last week and can't hardly wait until it arrives! I've wanted one for years and finally decided to "just do it" and will probably live on smoothies for a while after it arrives!

I have a Vita Mix blender, a Bamix hand held blender, a Cuisinart food processor, a Champion Juicer, an electric citrus juicer, a salton Centrifugal juicer, and every other kitchen gadget there is, (or so my hubby says) he likes to buy me things
I got rid of all of my heating gadgets when I went raw, except one microwave and one toaster oven that is kept in the garage for my hubby, oh and his coffee maker, other than that we are cook free.
But I don't make smoothies much, I make nut milkshakes almost every day, though.
I like to eat my fruit not drink it, and I drink tons of water and fruit juices. I use my Vita Mix to make nut milk, nut milk shakes and lots of fancy shmancy sauces and dressings and dessert type thingies.
I could not live without my Vita Mix.

I use my OJEX citrus press and my K-tec blender to make smoothies daily, however I don't use my Breville juice fountain daily.
For about 5 years now, my family has a morning fruit shake (smoothie)
Here's the recipe we now use
1 cup fresh squeezed oj (about 4 oranges)
3-4 ripe bananas
1/2 bag frozen peachs
2 cups frozen strawberries

I have both a juicer & a vitamix blender & I use the vita mix 2 or more times a day. I would use the juicer everyday if it weren't such a buttpain to clean the thing!

I got my 15 year old to drink two cup fulls of green smoothy today! ( wow.. totally ! )
and.. she held it down ( having vomiting problems ). She said she wants it every morning! ( what? lol)
I measured nothing - sorry, but this is what I threw in there:
cashews
raisins
a few dried dates
( blended them first with a bit of water )
Threw in: one granny green apple
two fist-fulls of baby spinach leaves
and added some apple juice.

I only have a blender that I got from Walmart. I've been trying to have a fruit/green smoothie everyday. I've been kind of slacking on the raw food for a while now :( but I've been making sure to have a big smoothie everyday.

I love green smoothies! I have a VitaMix and make a green smoothie pretty much everyday. I usually throw in 2 pieces of fruit - (I tend to go for apples and pears, and then I'll throw in about a cup of frozen fruit like peaches, strawberries, mango etc for extra flavor and nutrition), two large handfuls of leafy greens (for simplicity, I buy bagged spring mix, romaine, spinach, etc), and about 2 cups of water.
It's so fast and easy, and it takes less than a minute to rinse the VitaMix. I so prefer drinking a smoothie instead of cutting up fruit into bite sized pieces and eating it by itself. Plus, I've noticed a real difference in my skin as well - the coloring looks healthier, and I'm not breaking out as much. Of course... I did recently start and new skin regime, so that could be it as well, but I notice that if I go a couple days without the green smoothie, my skin coloring doesn't look as healthy, so I'm giving the credit to the smoothies.
Oh - one other thing. I also have a Green Star juicer, but it was such a pain to use and clean - it just took too much time. Plus, I really like that with the smoothies, I'm getting all the fiber as well.

I don't like smoothies. Would never drink them. Don't do any juice either aside from lemon and lime.

I love green smoothies too and have one every day! I have a LeQuip RPM blender that I use sometimes multiple times a day. I use a piece of whatever fruit I've got, throw in some frozen fuit and enough water to start it mixing. Then I add 6-7 big handfulls of spring greens and spinach while it's running and enough water to fill it to the brim. YUM! :D
I have a Green Star juicer as well and agree with Independent Thinker that it's a pain to clean, and I prefer the ease of just throwing the fruit into the blender.
I have an Oscar Vital Max (Omegar 8005) juicer that I use to juice wheatgrass, mixed with carrots or apples, at least once a day, often twice. I have been doing this for a fortnight now and have noticed a big difference in my energy levels.
The poll didn't give an option for having a juicer and a blender/vitamix and using the juicer daily but not the blender, so i couldn't fill it in.
Maybe if I had a VitaMix instead of a very old blender I might get more into green smoothies, but I'm very happy with the juice -- and the Oscar is very easy to clean.

I have a plain old blender I use for green smoothies. I also have a champion juicer but I hardly ever use it b/c of the clean up.

I sold my two juicers, then went to the Natural Products Expo over the weekend and am thinking I just "may" purchase another one. Pretty much talked myself into it. :)

I like masticating way too much! I know green smoothies are probably the best way to go in the morning, but I absolutely love actually eating the fruit and feeling the texture..Freud would love that I'm sure. Anyway, I should drink green smoothies, but a crisp pear (or 3) wins every time!

I have Jack LeLane's juicer...and I bought a blender about 6 mths ago. I haven't used the juicer in a good while because it's too time consuming. Plus it's such a waste when it comes down to all the pulp you end up getting rid of..unless you know what to do with it..which I still don't.
I love creating the green smoothies in the blender...I feel like I'm not wasting my hard earned money and I'm putting good use to every possible speck of ingredient and it goes right into my tummy.. I'm having one now while at work (green leaf lettuce, apple, strawberries...it's a lovely dark green) and I made a second one for a little later (kale and strawberries). I love the consistency even when adding water.
I'm pretty happy with my blender from Target...will upgrade to what's commonly used by the more experienced in the future. But no rush, as my cash is certainly limited.

No option for me :(
I am interested in a Vitamix but not for smoothies, lol I have never been a smoothie or juice type of gal. I love my iced water with lemon, and herbal sun teas for beverages. :) Maybe some day, but not at this point in my journey.
