Does anybody have a recipe to make raw mustard? It would be nice to have to go with the sunburgers. Anybody?

I've never made any, but know basically raw mustard is very, very hot (like chinese mustard) until it ages and mellows a bit. You'd need some kind of vinegar or lemon juice, dry mustard, maybe a sweetener.

I just bumped the famous condiments list. When I first went Raw = printed this and laminated it!It was a big help to have it nearby...

Whoa! That is a really good list of condiments. Thanks alot!!:)
That's a really good idea to laminate it as well. I might do that too.
This will be a big help in the future especially when it comes to family and friends.
Now my sunburger will be very happy!!

I don't think mustard powder is really raw. If you have a high speed blender, put 2 cups of apple cider vinegar, 1 cup of mustard seeds and 1 tsp of sea salt and blend on high speed until smooth.

As mentioned above it will be very hot, but if you want it like regular mustard leave it in a sealed glass jar at room temperature for at least a month and it will become like regular mustard. I always leave one jar aging so it's ready when my aged one is done.

I actually just started a new batch to make sure I have some more aged one ready in time.

By the way when you start blending the mix it will look way too liquid like water for the first 10-15 seconds, but after about 45 seconds it will be a thick mustard, and I think it may keep thickening a bit as it ages.
