I know it's been a problem with fish for a while, anyone know how mercury is affecting wild harvested sea veggies?

Fish flesh is more of a mercury concern as the higher up the food chain, the more concentrated the mercury contamination is. I can't access any data about levels in seaweeds though because the article I found requires a subscription to read it.

I get the sea veggies that specify they're tested for heavy metals.

That way nobody gets hurt.

I'm no expert, but I've read that many seaweeds specifically detox you from heavy metals by leeching them from your system.

Maybe others but spirulina is famous for this. And cilantro, while not a sea veg obviously, is also renowned for heavy metal detox.

I was so hevay metal for so long that I may never detox it all=p
