Well, after reading Aleesha's raving reviews on the Bellicon rebounder, and then getting interested and reading lots of information about how great rebounding is for you, I went out and bought a cheapie. I wanted to see if I liked it before making a big monetary commitment. Well, I love it! It's fun and enjoyable and I can FEEL it working. My skin even looks better after doing it. The best thing is that I can do it before work in the morning and don't have to get dressed, put on shoes, or go anywhere! The WORST thing about my cheapie rebounder is that it is SOOOO loud! Not only do I worry that my downstairs neighbor can hear me at 6am, but it also just bothers ME. I can barely hear my music when I'm jumping on it!

So my question is, is there a rebounder out there that is not too expensive (I really cannot afford a few hundred bucks right now) and is also quiet? The one I have is springs - is it necessary to get one with bands to nix the noise? I saw a band version on Amazon for pretty cheap, but I wonder how good it can be at less than $50. Do all spring version rebounders squeak like the dickens? I was looking at the ReboundAir http://www.reboundair.com (this is pretty much at the high end of my price range). They don't mention anything about the noise level though.

Any recommendations or insight on springs vs. bands? Right now the noise level is really a deterrent. I would definitely use mine more often and with more gusto if it wasn't so doggone noisy!

I have the urban rebounder and it doesn't "squeak". A little WD40 might help the noise? http://www.urbanrebounding.com/

You pay less, you get less. I find that with a lot of products.

did you take a look at Sylvia's website? She assists you to find one you can afford. She's very very helpful. Here's a link (http://www.qibounding.com/rebounders_quality-rebounders-tested.html) for ya.

Aleesha you have me wanting a rebounder like yours SO BAD!
I have the urban, it is ok. It is not to loud at all.
Just looking at the one you have, it looks like it bounces great and is quiet.
