I know I've posted a couple times how my stomach is super sensitive to food combining & I need to eat lighter in order to prevent feeling nauseous....well my mom seems to think that the less I eat the harder it is for my body to process the food & that may be the reason why my stomach is upset like 3-4 days out of the week.

Any thoughts? I mean I guess it makes sense but I don't feel like I'm undereating by any means that my body wouldn't know how to process foods. I eat when I'm hungry & that's it!

Hi Katie! No truth to this at all. If you are eating less, you are giving your body more opportunity to successfully process what you are eating, not less. What is true is that as your body becomes cleaner and more efficient, it will react more strongly and quickly to less-than-optimal combinations and foods. And as you eat less in general, your body is using less energy to process food and will have more energy left over to cleanse itself of stored junk and heal whatever may need healing, including, often, the stomach and GI tract in general...

Eater lighter is the healthiest way to go overall. Though most need to work up to that level. If it works for you, then it's great.

Is it healthy to eat light? What if I'm not getting enough nutrients for my activity level? (I guess if I eat everytime I'm hungry I really don't have anything to worry about!)

Simple, you just need to make sure you are. No matter how you eat you should pay attention to whether you're getting enough nutrition. You either cut back the amount of meals, but make sure they're nutrient dense or eat small meals more often. You may want to look into people that eat less like Tonya Zavasta & Paul Nison.
