My Excalibur (surprise from my sweet hubby) arrives tomorrow!

I am so excited but also nervous. I see on the forums how people do fruit and veg this or that way, processing, prepping, adjusted temps, etc. and most say they either learned from failure or on the forums! I did a few searches here and have learned some techniques but I'm worried that I will do so much wrong!

Also, with these 9 hour, 13 hour, etc dehydrating times on various elements of the same meal or dish, how the heck do you time it? I already plan our week of meals in advance with soaking and sprouting but I don't know where to start with the D.

Anyone have a sample schedule of how they put it all together? I'm really intimidated right now! :(

Thanks!

Hey! Congrads! Awwww, don't be intimidated. It's not a stove/oven where you are KILLING foods.

Does yours have a timer? If you have a couple things and one is to take 14 hours and one is to take 6, set the timer for 6, take out THAT dish, then reset for the remainder of the time.

It's really very easy. You'll see. You'll realize you worried for nothing.

AND I was one never to do like onion bread and fruit leather? Well, I've done them both together and it's been fine!
