After being raw for a little over a moth and then going off raw binging so heavily everyday for a good week to where you gain 15 lbs then going back on raw...the 1st day back on raw you eat alot (all raw though) but it seems like an unreasonable amnt...would you think this is because of all the daily binging your body got used to having mass amounts of food? or is it all the raw nourishment your body missed that week that its trying to get? or just the compulsive side of it all and your trying to binge on raw?

I really don't know how to answer you...but I have found, with me, for example, when I eat a cooked meal (I try to stay as close to 100% raw on most days and might have a cooked meal once a week - and sometimes I might go a couple of weeks without a cooked meal), then I tend to eat a lot more raw foods the following day - more than usual and more than normal for me. I have yet to figure out if my body just misses the raw or I've depleted it of nutrients or what, but I have noticed that. When I eat cooked, though, I eat healthy...maybe some spinach fettucini or brown rice or ezekial bread or sweet potatoes. This isn't junk food, either, that I'm eating yet I still tend to eat at a higher content level the day after eating a cooked meal.
Perhaps someone else will be able to come along and answer your question more...I just wanted to let you know that you are not the only one who has experienced this.
