and it said: almonds, dates, unsweetened bananas...is this possible to make yourself? How would it hold together/
Almost anything with a high sugar content (honey, for example) will assist in binding ingredients together, provided moisture is involved, at least initially.
Gluten, of course, is an alternative agent used for the purposes of binding.

Sure, I make the chocolate-coconut bars. They don't taste exactly like the Lara Bars, but close enough to save lots of money. :) The figs will hold it all together. She may partially dehydrate the bananas before adding them, though.

The Lara Bars are very easy to make, provided you have the right ingredients.
This bar makes up well using Trader Joe's dehydrated banana slices. Other than these, I don't know what other bananas would work, unless you dry your own first and then make ino a bar.
