Kimchi recipe

Kimchi is growing on me and I'd love to learn to make it. I've heard good things about Alissa's kimchi recipe.

Can you share your favorite kimchi recipes with me?

Not a recipe as such, but when I was at one of Viktoras Kulvinskas' talks, he mentioned how one could have kimchi in just 24 hours or less using probiotics, but at the time he didn't say exactly how. Intriguing though and worth a try if one does it right.

I made Alissa's Kim Chi recipe and it is FABULOUS!!! You'll have to get the book for the recipe, though...we are not allowed to post it (unless you can find it online somewhere). But, here's a photo:

My 7 year old daughter had it 3 days in a row!!! She REQUESTED it each day till it was gone!!! It's THAT good!!!

Is the kimchee recipe in Alissa's book? The Living on Live foods book? Ok, I feel totally foolish as I have her book but did not know that kimchee was a recipe in it (rushes to get my book as we speak) :confused:

:o Yes, the recipe is on page 299. I feel totally foolish now; for some reason I did not see this recipe nor would I expect kimchee to be in a recipe book as a lot of people dont like it. I LOVE kimchi, though, so now I can try to make my own.
