When making nut creams and such I always have to use ice or let the blender rest every now and then because it gets too warm otherwise.
Today when I made a cheese sauce I decided to check the temperature and found that it was about 113°F (45°C).
It worries me that it can easily reach those temperatures.
Do you have any tips how to prevent this besides using ice and cool liquids?
I was thinking that there might be some kind of "cooling blanket" or something on the market that you could wrap around the blender jug. Anyone know of such a product?
A tip for Vitamix and Blendtech would be to make an accessory that you put between the motor and the jug that works similar to the cooling disc of an ice cream maker. It would be an easy solution. Probably too expensive though.
