View Full Version : Made a big mistake

I hope to find support here and not any negativity. I already feel stupid enough. Yesterday I did an H2o2 enema, but I used too much H2o2. I realize now I should have done some more homework, but it is too late for that. I used about 1 cup plus water added to the enema bag and as a result am having some bright red bleeding. It is better today, but still there sometimes. Obviously, I don't feel well. So please don't be too hard on me.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm taking it easy. Eatting very plain foods. Has anyone else ever made this mistake and how long 'til it is better. I would appreciate any advice.

This is the answer to a similar question put elsewhere on the internet. I do not know how accurate it is.
Thank you for your question.
This is the third question I have answered today regarding hydrogen peroxide enemas. The people who make the claims that this is effective in detoxing the human body should be arrested. Not only is there no proof that it works but it is obviously harmful.
The hydrogen peroxide can irritate the sensitive mucosal lining of the rectum and cause bleeding and diarrhea. The pepto bismol that you took can cause black stool. There is nothing you should worry about as this will resolve within 48 -72 hours. Do not take any further enemas. Do not take anything else that may cause more harm than good. If this does not go away within the next two days than see a doctor but I'm quite certain it will resolve on its own.

Thank you, Sport. I appreciate your help. I already tried a probiotic enema to try to put back good bacteria. I won't be doing anymore enemas for awhile. Please let people know about this. I found the information about doing the H2o2 enema on youtube. Hopefully my thread will help others, before they try this.

Yes it is very important to not beleive the info on internet always. I sure hope you feel better. Enemas are good to clean out as well as colon hydrotherapy even better. Take care and be well.

I would think something like tea made from slippery elm might help, as mucilaginous as it is. You might get some relief too by drinking aloe juice for the next few days. L-carnitine is supposed to be good for the intestinal lining also. There are various supplements aimed toward healing and rejuvinating the intestinal lining that contain it.

It has been one week and most of my symptoms have gone. I still have rectal pain and low back pain. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would appreciate some help. Thank you.

Maybe if there is a nurse in the house you could tell me if it sounds like internal hemerroids or something else.
Feeling worried. Thank you.:(

thank you sooooooooo much for posting this as I was going to do one of those today. Had no idea it was damaging. I wish I could repay the favor with advice... The only one I have is try Lily of the Desert Aloe Vera 80 Stomach Formula, it's helped me and my mom with leaky gut issues, so I'm sure it would help you too. Got lots of healing herbs in it along with the aloe and it tastes good. Good luck and happy tummy thoughts to you

Yeah, I was going to suggest drinking aloe vera and let it soothe and heal from the inside out.
