Finally, finally I have figured out why raw food helps us become/stay healthy. I was reading a book about microscopic life with my daughter and it talked about how some small organisms lived off of plant matter and how some lived off of decomposing flesh.
Well, it's a small leap to realize that I want to be filled with the organisms that live off of plants and not filled with the carion eaters and eaters of decomposing flesh. THIS is why we feel bad after consuming raw foods awhile and eat cooked. THIS is why after eating raw awhile you no longer crave cooked. THIS is why it is hard to get back on raw after recolonizing your body witht he organisms that digest cooked, dead food that you crave them and can't fathom eating a bowl of oranges for a meal.
We are not a single entity. We are an entire colony of living things. I want my living things to not be vultures, carrion eaters,maggots--but instead an entire raw colony of living, healthy beings.
We are what we eat not only because we are made at a microscopic level of those elements--but also because we grow the life that we feed-- No wonder sad eaters are diseased--how long can a human body filter and protect itself from all of the rot and putresence that cooked food and animal products produce?
Thank you so much for being here and existing on this journey with me!
