Hi, I haven't been around for awhile. Life got in the way! Now it's MY time!
I have been reading a ton of threads on fasting/feasting. I'm thinking of doing a juice feast because this will be my first time and I'm afraid going right into a fast will not work for me.
I love the ideas of charting, logging, etc. Those are wonderful tracking and motivational tools.
I would like some advice from those that have done a juice feast/fast for an extended period of time. My goal is to do this for 30 days. Of course I want to drop weight, but I also want to get rid of the fog in my brain, clean out my organs..especially the colon! I want to get rid of my wrinkles (I'm 53) and get that..."raw" glow.
I have read the thread about what happens during the detox process (I need to find it again and print it). That was very informative! I would LOVE it if you all would share your juice recipes. I have some juicing books but some have LONG lists of ingredients. I want to keep it simple.
My intention is...since I work 10 hour days...is to make enough juice for the day and store it in the fridge I have in my office. Not ideal, but it's not practical for me to take my juicer to work. I have some 2 qt jars that I want to fill. I figure if I don't deprive myself of fresh juice when the "hunger" pains hit, I will be able to stick with it.
I would like to find out what has worked for you and what didn't, meaning did your feast/fast accomplish your goals?
