View Full Version : MC recipe using WHOLE LEMONS

Someone posted it or sent it to me. I can't remember who they are, or where I got it. They could've emailed it to me or posted it here, but I can't find it!

This person used I THINK:
3 peeled organic lemons
3 capsules of cayenne pepper (capsules opened and dumped in)
MAYBE (I CAN'T REMEMBER) 1/4 cup of Maple syrup.
water: how much????
BLEND AWAY!!
This recipe made enough for the whole day!!!
I need help remembering the right amount of ingredients and how much water got added to this. I really wish I could remember where and who.....
The purpose was to use the pulp of the lemon to help with cleansing. I like doing it this way. I didn't feel like I was wasting my precious lemons.....

Anybody???

Bah, just wrote out a huge pedantic post and lost it.
The original recipe is 10oz water, 1/10t cayenne, 2T MS and 2T lemon juice, 60-120 oz a day (it has been many months but that damn recipe is burned into my memory). So I guess it depends on how close you want to stick to the original?
In my experience, consuming the pulp actually kept my digestion awake and never allowed my body to go into true fasting / healing mode. Totally different experiences with or without pulp, both are great in their own right but very different effects on the body, from what I can tell.
That is the short and sweet version :p

Thank you! After I wrote the part about the pulp, I actually thought to myself "wouldn't that make it a smoothie" even though it is not that thick, I thought about digestion and what all that pulp might do to keep it "going". You really confirmed what I was thinking. Unless someone comes back and tells me LEMON PULP does something different for your body...Think I'll stick to the original recipe.
