New here - I had started a raw journal (with the same username, "rawandnatural") on another site, but it doesn't appear to be a very active forum. So here I am. I'm new to raw, sort of. Have been high to 100% raw for a few months. Raw food just seems to be what my body responds best to. Any cooked food I've had has made me feel, well, blah.

Many factors led me to raw, both personally, and from what I have read on line. I love Alissa's site (and thank you for this forum!), Jinjee and Storm's family site, rawschool.com, and many others for inspiration.

Most of what I eat is just plain, natural, and organic. I normally eat the food as is, and it seems to satisfy me best. Occasionally I will make a smoothie, and it is quite filling. I don't eat much prepared or dehydrated, or seasoned food, as I like to keep it fresh and natural as possible. Sometimes I'll wrap mashed up avocado in a sheet of (untoasted) nori, chopped cucumber, and red peppers, and just roll it up like that, chopped into little sushi-sized pieces, but most of the time I prefer fresh and juicy fruit.

I manage to stay 100% most of the time, and want it to be ALL the time. I don't live alone, I am married with children, and they still like cooked vegetarian food, but enjoy the raw things I make for them, fruit salads and green salads, and other treats.

Sounds similar to how I eat and how my family does. Welcome.
