Hi all,
I'm not one to hypochondriacize, but over the last month have been getting more pains. Generally, lower abdomen, left side. Kind of a poking pain (not quite stabbing) Also a dullish pain on the right side near my upper hip bone tip, a bit behind the bone.
I have been 100% for over 8 months now....NO slips:)
So initially - I wasn't bothered with these pangs, but over the weekend it seemed like a near constant compagnion.
How to interpret? Starting to be worrisome. I was putting it down to cleansing and healing, but worried it is getting more frequent, not less....

If it were me, I would go have it checked out just so I would know how I wanted to proceed. Look at it as purely informational. YOU choose how to treat. Sometimes the stress of NOT knowing what's going on does more damage. But that's just me, I'm sure you'll get lots of opinions.
Blessings,
Heather

T-Bird,
Sorry to hear this.
Is it at all in your back? or in the front of your abdomen?
I ask because kidney stones tend to be in the back, and I'm convinced I got them a couple mos back. I was not adhering to eating a vit c source with my greens....which will bind to the oxalates, rather than having the minerals binding with the oxalates and creating stones. This is also another good reason to vary your greens.
I drank a bunch of lemon juice every day as well as raw ACV, and have read of other's testimonials, who may have been quicker, but I'm happy. .
Pain eased up after about two weeks and was totally gone in a month. I had it for about a month - 5 weeks total.
HTH, keep us apprised,

T-Bird,
I agree with Mary Kay.
In addition, I live next to an orchard area and I can attest to the healing power of raw apples and raw ACV. I have heard many testimonials over the years as well.
Apples, apple juice, ACV...you might be surprised.
All good,

Thanks for the input.
All dr visits and testing would be an out of pocket expense, so - it'd take a lot to make me go - and I'm not at all flush with money at the moment, spent alot more than planned on vacation this year......but it was fun (and healthy!).
MK-the lower left is in the front mostly, the right side pain really in the middle (between front and back). No idea if they are related or 2 separate things going on. I'm hanging on to the hope that it's a sign of healing in the area, with the old adage sometimes it gets worse before it gets better.
How did you drink the lemon and ACV? with water on an empty stomach - or added in with food, etc? I've been using only evoo and spices on my salads....maybe a little of the acv added in would be healthier?
Now would be a good time to find a pick your own apples! I'll try to find an organic place - get a bushel or two, and juice myself till they're gone, lol!

The only thing I can advice is to check if your diet is not too acidic and to make sure you're drinking lots and lots of water.
Best thing would be to see a doctor. :)
Good luck

Morning drink...2TBL ACV-1/2 juice lemon 1tsp honey in 12 oz of room temp water. Drink it with a straw if you have one. If it's 'strong' for your tummy, add more water. I order Bragg's from www.vitaminshop.com it's the cheapest. If you have a store near you, I was told the store will honor the internet prices if you bring it in.

Do you still have your appendix? If your abdomen becomes stiff or rigid, you experience 'rebound pain' (that's where you press in and it hurts more when you let go) or you start to vomit get to a doctor. You may just be having a flair of kidney stones, but appendicitis is a possibility, too. Good Luck,

Appendicitis though is on the right side though, not the left. Hmmmm. T-Bird, google appendicitis symptoms left side pain --or something.
T-Bird, I just drank as much as I could stand.
I did not do any honey as I'm worried about consuming too much sugar, albeit natural. I think it is the acid in the lemons and ACV, that actually help to dissolve the stones.
Rick, you'll be jealous! - my dh is an apple farmer. We live on a fruit farm!
Oh, and T-Bird, DRINK< DRINK< DRINK< Lots of water will help flush out stones, if in fact that's what they are.
