Washing Kale

Hi everyone from very soggy Georgia.

Washing Kale.....
I triple wash my kale. Drain it. Pat it dry. Bag it.
Put in fridge.
I still seem to find those tiny light green gnats on my kale!
Anyone else have this same problem?
If so, how do you wash your kale? They are so leafy and curly.

I soak mine in a bucket overnight. Then swish and swirl and hope for the best!

I have been putting mine in the kitchen sick filled with water either in the AM before I leave for work or at night.

Would never have thought of using the bathtub!! :D

I hardly ever wash my kale. Freaks my wife out when she catches me. I am really bad about washing my produce in general.. It's lucky to get a quick rinse.. You all are an inspiration! :D

Oh n I think me might have eaten a lil bit o bugs. I never wash mine, the farmer i get it from does. WHo knows whats in all those lil curls.

That is too funny. Nope, in a bucket in the bathtub, because I do like 3-4 bunches of kale at a time. I'll try salt water. Good idea!!!
