How to store kimchi?

I just did Alissa's kimchi recipe and it made an enormous bowl of it. How do I store kimchi and am I right that it keeps for a long time? Does it even need to be refrigerated?

Absolutely refrigerate it!!! It will spoil if you don't and it will began to smell. The next day it was alright...better the 1st day, though. Let me know what you think...
