I thought it might be a neat idea for everyone to share what they have been eating to help pump out some ideas. I know sometimes I feel stumped.

This morning however, I mixed together an amazing smoothie with coconut mylk (homemade) with a pomegranate, cherry, blueberry mix... don;t know what to have for lunch yet but what are you guys having? :o

Your smoothie sounds great!!!

Today so far I have had watermelon, cantaloupe, organic black grapes that were SOOOO juicy and sweet!!!
Don't worry I didn't combine the grapes with the melons ;)
I ate them a couple of hours apart.

Next, I will get me a nice big green smoothie in, so I can make sure I'm getting my greens. I will add a mango, pineapple, cherries, cilantro, chia fiber, spinach, and rainbow chard. That will fill me up, I'm sure.

Then for tonight I will work on that pate I made yesterday, I will put it on some romaine lettuce leaves for my "shells"

I went to the store and really stocked up on a lot of great fruit, and some veggies, now I need to figure out how to eat it all before it goes bad.
I was feeling good yesterday, and my eyes were bigger than my stomach :D

This is the most excited I've been about raw in awhile. I think it's because I had been doing all raw from April till the end of Aug. and that's when I found out about my Gastroparesis, and was told not to eat fiber, so I went off raw for a few weeks and felt worse than I had, and felt as if I was getting sicker, so I prayed about it, and felt like I needed to go back to raw. Now I'm psyched, and ready to face this health "challenge" head on.

All of your food sounds so good right now! haha

So far I have just had my morning greens smoothie, changed it up though. LOTS of collard greens, a big juicey apple and a smidge of fresh ginger!

Right now I'm snacking on another delicious apple and dipping it in raw honey.

We're going to my mum's surprise party later, so I will be bringing some fruit and maybe a small salad for myself.

Then tonight I plan on trying some of the pears from market, another big crunchy salad, then just graze on random fruits.

So far I have had a Green Smoothie of Kale, Banana, Nectarine & Date. I had a really juicy Pear. I had some apple & peach fruit leather. I had made a batch yesterday. My friend has a peach tree and way too much fruit...she brought over about 8 lbs last night and I will be making more fruit leathers to stock up on.....:D

Today I am going to have another Green Smoothie for lunch. I am making popcorn this morning. I found a cheese sauce recipe that I am going to make for sauce and cheese slices.

For dinner will be a salad with lots of veggies.

Overnight will dehydrate Goddess Kale Chips...

I am enjoying my dehydrator and trying out new recipes....

Made the Enchiladas a couple of nights ago...yummers.....:)

Zina,
Do you have good luck with your fruit leathers? If so, can you tell me how you do it? I want to make some for my kids, but the fruit is so expensive to waste it, if mine doesn't turn out right. I think they would really like that. How long do you dehydrate yours?

Thanks
Cathy

This wa s the first time I ever tried making fruit leather....I took the fruits put them in the blender and added some Apple Pie Spice....I dehydrated for about 8 hours......I poured it right on the parchment paper looked about 1/2 inch thick and also looked foamy and them spread with a spatula to even out....peeled right off the paper when done....I have a 8 cup blender and used 8 peaches and 6 apples which made 7 leathers....

Almost every morning I have a big ole' green smoothie, usually with 2 fruits, lots of greens - all sorts -- and sometimes with coconut oil, either hemp or flax seeds, and either spirulina, kelp, or dulse.

Today I started (as usual) with a huge glass of water, Barley Life Garden Trio, followed by a double dose of NingXia Red. An hour or so later I made my daily green smoothie which included raw goat's milk kefir, Balance Complete Nutritional Powder, big handful of mixed spring greens, and a banana. For lunch I had carrot and celery sticks with "Eggless Egg Dip" - I love this dip by the way! I snacked on a few raisins and dates a bit later, and for dinner I had some green salad, a piece of raw pizza, and 2 balls of halvah.

My current diet is somewhat different than when I'm not pregnant by the way - before that I was really watching the amount of nuts and dried fruits a lot more because I was trying to lose weight. Now my goal is to maintain, and I'm not doing too bad most of the time.
