Hi all,
I just wanted to quickly introduce myself to this forum.
I am 27 and I live on Prince Edward Island, in Canada. I have been a vegetarian since 2001, although I did continue to eat tuna, which was my one beloved food exception!
My mother-in-law has been 100% raw for about nine months now, and she has undergone a major transformation and is so excited about raw food. Her energy has been passed on to me.
A few months ago I went 90% raw for one month. I then went back to cooked foods for a few months. I am now on day 29 of being 100% raw.
I have been drinking lots of green smoothies and eating lots of creative salads. I've also made delicious raw desserts in my food processor. I experimented with dehydrating foods in the oven, but it was too frustrating. I finally purchased a dehydrator online today.
I would love to connect with any other new raw fooders--especially Canadians from the east coast.
