I'm trying to get around the taste of turmeric/black pepper in order to consume it on a regular basis.
According to recent research and user testimonials, turmeric is a tremendous anti-inflammatory, helps mental clarity and memory, cleanses the blood, protects and detoxes the liver, preventative of cancer and Alzheimers, helps with boils and acne. There is a wealth of studies and tests that have been performed and more will come.
I tried the following recipe, its based on date paste, an idea from a member of this forum. I got some chai tea today, Snoops is looking for a recipe to combine Chai tea with turmeric.
So the chai tea I found has, Ingredients:... tea, cinnamon, cardamon, cloves, ginger. Its gooooood !
Mix some 1 tsp turmeric with a few grains of black pepper.
Blend 8 large pitted dates with some chai tea ( instead of water) to make a gooey paste.
Pour it in a bowl and add the turmeric/black pepper.
Mix it with a fork.
Add some sesame seeds. Let it thicken.. put it in the fridge.
At a rate of about a Tbsp 2wice a day you now have enough for 3-4 days. Better not to take it close to bedtime... this is energizing. I've started on my first batch...its luvly jubly !
Note: The chai tea is Twinings Indian Spiced Chai Tea.
Hope this works,
All good,
