I'm looking for organic pick-your-own farms within an hour or so of Toronto.

So far I've found this one:
http://www.organicsfarm.ca/

But I'd like a greater variety! While I already have access to a few organic markets, I really LOVE picking my own fruit. I'm looking for: cherries, strawberries, apples, peaches, nectarines.

Thanks!

I live in Montreal, but I went to Toronto many times and here are some good health food stores I recommend:

Big Carrot Natural Food Market (offers a large variety, I love that place lol)
348 Danforth Ave #209
Toronto, ON, M4K1N8
(416) 466-2129
http://www.thebigcarrot.ca/

Whole Foods Market (mostly organic but gotta pay attention to the labels sometimes)
87 Avenue Rd.
Toronto, ON, M5R3R9
(416) 944-0500

Hope I've helped :)

I just moved to Toronto a few days ago, but before I came I did some research :D

Have you ever heard of Food Cycles (http://foodcycles.org/sale-fresh-local-chemical-free-organic-vegetables/)? I haven't gone yet, but from the sounds of it, it seems as though they do "u-pick" sales.

there's a year round organic farmers market in dufferin grove park. someone there can tell you what grows near and if you can pick it or not.
http://dufferinpark.ca/market/wiki/wiki.php

you could also try a wwoofing guide, they list tons of places where you can workshare.

you might still be able to get a community garden plot in high park.

good luck!
