Hey there -
Anyone out there do any of the Beach Body dvds (http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0oGklz4sa5KEtoAN9hXNyoA;_ylu=X3oDMTE0ZTVsaXY yBHNlYwNzcgRwb3MDMQRjb2xvA3NrMQR2dGlkA01BUDAxM184O Q--/SIG=11d134jma/EXP=1253049208/**http%3a//www.beachbody.com/)?
I am on week 2 of Insanity and I love it. I can only do about 70% of what they do in the video and it's totally kicking my butt.

I use TurboJam with Chalene Johnson. I really like it.

Oh ya! I always see that commercial. Have you had good results? Can you describe it a bit? Sore a lot?

I have had good results in the past. I got sore, but it was a good sore. It went away quickly and it made me want to work even more. It's really like doing a dance routine with a group of very happy people. My heart rate goes up and I really feel good doing it and it doesn't really feel like exercise. Once you learn her "Elite 11" moves, the routines become very fun.
I have never been a person who likes exercising, running, speed walking or any kind of excessive movement aside from maybe shoving food in my head, jumping rope or dancing. I can do Chalene's workout easily and don't feel like abandoning it after the first day. She really makes it fun. However, with my weight going up and down recently, I stopped doing her workout. But I'm definitely going to start up again hopefully this week.

Oh nice I might have to try some!
I haven't done the P90X kenpo yet. I might add that on my Insanity day off.
Do you eat anything specifically for recovery? Raw shake? Any suggestions?

Have done P90X as a break from my normal routine. Was a nice change.
No changes for me (except was not as strong going back into my lifting program), but I am heavy into fitness already.
Yes would recommend a recovery drink after exercise :)

Cool! I have run track, played rugby, and run a few marathons but not while raw....so I was curious if I should eat certain stuff for recovery.

Since I'm new to this raw foods thing, the suggestions I give might not be very helpful. However, when I used to work with a fitness coach I was told to drink chocolate milk after our weight lifting and work outs. Unfortunately, the person that told me that didn't realize that I have suffered from IBS for many years. If you have some suggestions, I'd love to hear them. I'm not an exercise guru or anything. Just a little lady that lives at home who dabbles. I do stuff and don't really think about recovery and healing like I probably should. So any of your thoughts would be helpful to me.
