Im glad I found this community. I am new to juice feasting and raw. I made a choice 1 week ago that I wanted to attempt the 92 day juice feasting to better my health and life. Today I am on day #4 and going strong. I hope to meet other friendly people on this board who can give me advice and feedback throughout my journey. Your support will keep me strong and help further my will power.

JuiceMeNow,
I went to your blog and was unable to comment, and wanted to share that if you're trying to do a cleanse, you generally do not want to do any proteins or fats at first. My opinion: Your body goes into a state of autolysis --where the cells are seeking fats and proteins because they're not getting any, and actually will attack weaker cells, not the liver etc, thereby helping to eliminate disease, so at first, you do NOT want to do any nut milk.
But for 92 days----I'd probably start doing some fats/proteins, but still at a deficit of what would be "normal" maybe a month into it. If you do not do any fats especially, your hormones may become imbalanced and you will lose your period.
If you are going to do some nuts though, you DO want to soak your nuts. They have natural "preservative -like" enzymes so they won't spoil, which are hard for your body to digest as they are enzyme inhibitors.
The other reason why you would want to do some nutmilk (fats/proteins) at first would be if you're detoxing too badly --getting headaches etc, so you want to slow down the cleansing a little.
Just some thoughts.
The most I've ever done was five weeks, followed by a two-week eating break, followed by six weeks.
Will you only be doing juice? If so, do you plan on doing anything for elimination? (poop)

JuiceMeNow,

Mary Kay, Yes I wll only do juice. I have not taken anything for eliminations as though I have been having a good 2 per day. I read on another site that you should you something such as smooth move to help with elminations but I haven't needed it. I was thinking if it does come time that I do need to help my body I would do the salt water flush as though I did the SWF last year in Jan 08 when I did a 30 water fast.
What do you suggest to help with eliminations?

I was going to offer that there is no WILL POWER involved, rather empowerment. If you depend on will power it might not work. That is what all other diets are based on.
This way of life is empowering you to live a great life. It takes getting clear on what you want for your life, why you want to make such a great step into raw and loving all it brings you. This you will need to remind yourself of over and over again as you go along.
So when temptations arise, depending on empowerment, knowing why you are doing this and saying it, instead of trying to win out over your will. will lead to SUCCESS!!!!
