Hello all,
New to forum and have been raw for 30 days. Was vegetarian and vegan prior. Love it so far, and have no cravings. I have been losing roughly 1 lb a day, (I also work out daily), but wonder if the weight loss eventually tapers off?
I have heard that the raw food lifestyle brings your body to your ideal weight, the weight you are meant to be.
Any thoughts or experiences?
Thanks !

My body started losing weight right away and hasnt stopped. I didnt have alot to lose. Was like size 11 or so...now keeping on shrinking to 8 or less even. Been almost two years.
I think the more raw you eat and dont evereat, not eat alot of heavy dehydrated foods, dont eat after dark, drink green smoothies, it will drop off you.
It takes time. Simply make this your life and the body does amazing stuff.
Oh yes... I always tell people to get off the weight loss idea and just eat and let it happen...because it will.

Forget losing weight. Just eat right and let your body sort it out.

EXCELLENT! I healed. Eliminating weight was secondary to how well I feel.
I so agree w/Humanist. ;-)

I have been high raw for 40 years. I am slim, but definitely not emaciated or weak. Animals in the wild eat 100% raw. How many of them are emaciated or weak?

Yes. Weight loss tapers off. At least that has been my experience.
Do you have more weight that you want to lose? If not, I would suggest eating more. :)

Oh sorry it seemed we took your post in the opposite manner. You will not waste away to nothing. No worries. You will go to your ideal weight and be there. If you are concerned then yes, eat more...woohooooo
