I've been 60-70 percent raw for a month now. The first week was great, had lots of energy, clearer skin, looked great. Two weeks into it came the headaches, runny nose and now that's gone but the past week and a half I’ve been having a lot of diarrhea, broke out a little bit and have lost a lot of weight (prob due to diarrhea). Eeeh not liking the way I look right now, my face has gotten a little thin. My diarrhea has gotten a little better but still going.

Also, after my first meal i get a but of an uneasy feeling- stomach turning, followed by a little diarrhea and also feel a little tired. I was thinking that this could have been my liver cleaning itself out (because I also broke out recently but i've always had acne in the past) since i added lots of milk thistle to my diet as i drank tons before and probably had/have an extremely toxic liver.

OR, maybe this is my body releasing the acidity and dealing with the alkalinity and adjusting?

What I am concerned about is how I will be dealing with this once I start some courses I plan on taking which start next week :(. Thank God i'm not working at the mo otherwise it would have been hell!!!!

I have had diarrhea since the day I started raw, on June 12th. Every single day. NO let ups. I felt good otherwise (once the worst of the initial detox was over, at about 2-3 weeks) and I needed to lose weight so that wasn't too bad. However I was getting tired of the big D.
Two weeks ago, I water fasted for three days and then did a green smoothie fast for 5 days. EVer since then, NO DIARRHEA. In fact I have been a little too much the other way, lol. I just think my digestive tract needed total rest. Try it and see.

Don't get discouraged - it takes a long time to build up toxins in the body, so naturally, it will take time to release them.

Trust the process, and keep sharing - this is a wonderfully supportive community!

Do not return to your previous diet. You've already come a long way. If you're confused, I guess this post on my blog will help you. Check it out:
