Hello there to everyone. Tomorrow morning will be the first day of this challenge. I went out today and purchased a juicer...always wanted one, but just never bought one. Went straight to the supermarket afterwards and went organic crazy.

Any pointers or guidance will be greatly appreciated. I would love to hear from you on how you are doing with this newly found lifestyle.

Cheers,
rawmelon

Hello

Today is the day. My first day to a better lifestyle. I thought I should tell you a bit about myself. I am 29 years old and have been married a year. We reside in Westchester County New York. In the next couple of months we will be relocating down south to NC.

When I was seventeen I decided I wanted to become a vegan because it was the trend at the moment, I did that for three years. I now realize that being a vegan is a lifestyle and a way of life. I thought I ate good, but now I am questioning that. I have wanted change my ways of binging on the weekends.

I came across this board and I was estatic. I would love to hear from you. Introduce yourself, tell me who you are and why you chose this challenge?

Welcome Rawmelon, we are glad you found this board. If you have any questions just ask. There are a lot of other new people here too.

We used to go to the NC mountains on vacation every year when I was growing up. Of course there is a lot of flat land there too. Hope you enjoy your new location.

Welcome!!
You are going to love this site! Everyone is so helpful and supportive...a truly great environment! I am now on day 29 of my 30 day challenge and it has been the best thing I've ever chosen to do. For me, I know that this is it! I still have a lot of questions and look for ideas and inspiration....it's all answered here! :)
The choice for me, was for my health , which is just a weight issue now, but what was waiting down life's path for before raw? Heart disease, diabetes, cancer? Many people in my family have had these issues and I want to be pro-active about my life and for me, raw is answer! Go raw, go raw,it's your birthday.... :p
Good luck with your journey! Hope to see you on the posts! :)
