I will be three months raw tomorrow, thirteen weeks today, and today is my 51st birthday. The changes in my life have been profound, though my appearance hasn't changed enough to get much attention. No-one at work or church has noticed my weight loss yet, but my family, especially my husband, has noticed the changes in my health and energy level.
Weight Loss: 27 Pounds
Inches Loss: 32.75 (this is the T-Tapp measurement system, where you take 14 different measurements). Four inches off my waist, three off my hips, down two pants sizes, from 20-16. Yaya!
Migraines not totally gone but reduced a great deal.
PMS greatly reduced.
Heartburn totally gone.
Blood sugar has dropped from an average of 140 to an average of 105. I am no longer prediabetic!
Blood pressure in the low normal range.
I have fibromylagia and feel that just this past month I have finally turned the corner on my energy level. It took awhile but I feel that, while I don't yet have MORE energy than most other people, I finally have as much energy as the average woman my age. What a great feeling! My muscle pain on the average day is also better.
I have attached some face shots. I don't have anyone around right now to do the full body shots. I will do them when my daughter gets back from her volleyball tournament later this weekend. May or may NOT post them, lol. But I do think my increased joy comes through in the picture, if not a lot of physical changes. The first picture was taken in April on a cruise with my beautiful (and also raw) 18yo daughter. The second was taken today with my webcam.
