I hope this is not TMI, but about 4 months ago, I stopped menstruating. No explanation -- not pregnant like some of our beautiful women on RFT, no menopausal symptoms, NO CLUE . . .

So yesterday, on Day 32 at 100% raw, here comes my period - with a vengeance!

At first, I was weirded out, but then I was thrilled -- with my 48th birthday coming up soon, I am welcoming any and all signs of continuing youth -- not from a place of vanity, but VITALITY!

And the BEST PART? I can eat anything I want and as much as I want during my cycle and give my body what she needs with no worrying about calories, weight gain, etc.

YAY for RAW!!!!

that's wonderful! I know how exciting that can be. I have PCOS and every rare period I get, i am so thankful for because it means i'm doing something right for my body.

This report just in from the trenches....

8 months at 100% raw - still a crampy period.:(

It is at least manageable without meds now. Every month I hope for no pain....maybe next month.....

That is some people's opinion, I totally disagree. Women have had periods from the time of ancients, when food and environment were totally clean and healthy. So congratultions Cyn! It is a great feeling no?

mine was the same way this month. None for 2 months then it came. spoiled me...the clots were almost none, just a few strings...sorry just commenting on the difference. I'm being more conscious this month, waiting to see.
