It's timeless... her message. And she's right so right (talking about Alissa here)... if raw isn't working to release weight and increase health... then there's something you are eating that is slowing down the process. Period. No nothing else about it. You are consuming something that is slowing it down.
And... how amazing it is when it's working...
Soooooo worth the listen!
Thanks for keeping these podcasts on the net Rev!

Thanks for posting this, Aleesha! I immediately checked out your brilliant suggestion and I have to say that this podcast and Rawkin Radio's other podcasts have kept me raw and vegan for almost a month now with no cravings. There are some real gems on Rawkin Radio and I encourage anyone and everyone who wants to stay raw to listen to one or two of these shows daily. Raw just becomes completely effortless when your mind is in the right place! These shows are free for downloading and are completely priceless. Thanks again!

If you go back to the VERY beginning, Alissa and I were co-hosts.
Yes, the link is weird now, eh? Someone has taken over the Rawkin' Radio name so, no telling where it'll take ya now. :(

I listened to the whole podcast... it was encouraging for weight loss...
I liked the idea that if you're 100% raw, and strict with it, you'll obtain better results...
I also liked that if you're 100% raw, you're guaranteed to lose weight... I can see that...

Lots of promotion at the start, but it gets interesting from 14:00 - 16:00, 18:40 - 19:10, and is good from 25:00 to the end.
Alissa talks about how packaged foods must be processed....but it would be great if she did research into this and found out exactly how the packaged superfoods are processed and how it effects the nutrition content etc, that would give her huge clout over the rest of the raw food speakers and she would get alot more respect from all types of raw food people and even from the mainstream diet promotors. Raw food people need to research these things so there is more substance to the arguments they put forth. lt's not easy to research the effects of processed packaged foods, but the person who makes the effort will go down in history as one of the most highly respected raw food gurus because finally people will start taking raw food diets seriously because it will be backed up by fact, not just opinion.
l do respect her very much for the fact that she doesn't want to lecture with many other raw food people, and isn't promoting packaged foods and rar rar sessions. She seems very down to earth and appears very mentally balanced. For that she gets my full respect and l will buy her book soon. Hers will be the first health book i've read in 12 years (l generally try avoiding health books these days).
Well done Alissa.
