So I'm making this sesame seed salad dressing that I've made a few times before, and I get this wild idea to put some flax meal in it. Well! Bright idea that was because it made the dressing sticky! Like, sticky enough to plaster walls with! I've got some in the oven, dehydrating, but I'm nervous. I really hope it turns out.

There's no real point to this post... I think I just made my first raw mess and wanted to share the news with people who'd understand. :D

Good save. Maybe you will get some tasty crackers or chips out of it. Sometimes good things come for goofs. :)

It finally came out of the oven and I think it turned out great! It stuck like mad in the turning, but I'm really happy with it. Great texture, great flavor... a real pat on the back moment. I had half the pan as a "stand there and pick at it" snack :D and some of the larger pieces as croutons for tonight's salad. Delicious!

I'm not even mad at the fact that I was hoping for bread and got croutons instead. When life hands lemons... :D

But now, a question: could I freeze the dough or would I have to dehydrate the rest of it, then freeze it?

Flax will Jell it up, as it did. Trial and Error will teach you so much. I would dehydrate the rest of it and store in the Fridge in an airtight container.
