I was on a 95% raw diet for MANY years and was in GREAT health.
Then with the big protein craze and my obsession for losing weight I went on a protein diet.....hated every second of it - SERIOUSLY HATED IT but I did lose the weigh, my body CRAVES and LOVES fruits and veggies, I'm one that will stop at the store just for a cucumber to eat LOL
ANYWAYS to get to my point, I've decided to give up my obsession for keeping my weight off with protein and go back to my raw lifestyle.
During the time on the high protein diet I seemed to have thinned some in my hair, I am in my late 30's and have always had LONG BEAUTIFUL hair now it's still long but gets thinner and thinner every year, I can see my scalp in some area (not bald spots) and there was a time I would have to DIG to see my scalp. My thyroid has been checked and it is fine.
Just wondering if in your opinion going raw again may help with this? Maybe even re-grow back some of my hair and have my nice hair back again?
What foods would help me the most?
Thanks for any help you can provide
I am soooo excited to be back :)

Msm powder helps grow hair. Also stinging nettle slapped on the scalp stimulates hair follicles to grow hair.

I've been raw for 5 months and my hair has grown like crazy. I've also noticed my eyelashes have filled in more. They used to be really sparse but now they're longer and thicker. I definitely contribute this to being raw.

I would just eat a wide variety of foods for maximum nutrition but also go with the raw foods your body is craving. The body really knows what it needs and wants, if you just tune in, you'll know.

I just read a raw food dr said weight loss can contribute to hair loss, of course stress too. Even on the healthiest raw diet it seems there are many lifestyle factors to consider. Sounds like your weight is stabilized, that may be enough to reverse the effects!Good luck.:)
