Have you ever heard of anyone sprouting borage or nasturtium? I've been collecting seeds from my borage to try a tray. I know the greens are cucumber like in flavor. Does Allisa do anything with borage or nasturtium in her recipes, meaning other than as a garnish? Thank you.

If they are edible as Nasturtiums are you can Sprout them. I can't remember what Alissa's says about them if anything.

Yes the Borage seeds are edible. Borage oil (oil usually comes from the seeds of a plant somtimes the flowers) is a great elixer for women. I am sure that they are still edible sprouted but... I have never personally tried sprouted borage seeds so I can not vouch for the taste.

I am very low on green variety, so I put big handfuls in my green soup yesterday, it was good w/spinache, not overpowering. I did not use the flowers, I love them, but didn't need garnish just for me. I don't know about sprouts, check with Victoria B. in Green for life.
