This was my second time trying to make corn bread in my dehydrator, per Alissa's book. After all that work, it still tastes weirdly yeasty and sour. I can't eat it. Can anyone offer advice? Or should I just accept the fact that yummy corn bread is a thing of the past for me?

I wouldnt eat it if it tastes sour. Some people start their dehydrator recipes on a higher temperature for an hour or 30 minutes, then turn it down to keep it from going sour. I've never made raw corn bread (yet) so can't help you specifically, just my two scents=)

I have Alissa's book, but haven't made the corn bread. Do you form it into a loaf, or...? (I'm too lazy to go down and get the book - sigh!) *Ü*

You pour it onto the sheet about 1/4" thick then score with a spatula and dehydrate.
