Good morning,
My name is Frannie. I live in North Georgia. I am 55 and have been 75% raw for a while now. I am in search of more information on raw.
I've been trying to find a forum or blog that can answer questions regarding going raw. I believe I found the right place.
Kindly,
Frannie

Yep there is a good deal to read on this forum and plenty of info on the web as well, getting others input who have been eating raw for awhile is a great way to help you grow and improve. Welcome by the way!

Thank you MiahTay and spicyfull. I appreciate the support.
I am glad my husband is supportive too.
This is my 3rd day raw. I am not trying to lose weight, but that would be
a nice side benefit! But I just want to be healthy.
I am not sure I can go completely raw but so I am challenging myself to
do 2 weeks.
Kindly,
Frannie

I just wanted to report. Even if it is just to myself.
I AM 25 DAYS RAW! I can't believe it. I was just going to challenge myself to 2 weeks....but I feel so good, just had to keep going.
I appreciate all the help and advise from everyone. Ideas, suggestions,
kind words.
Everyone is so great.
Thank you,
Kindly,
Frannie

Congratulations Frannie!

That was how it was with me too. I was just going to be 100% raw for 30 days this time, but I am totally committed and feeling fabulous and just decided to stay raw.

It's kind of nice to think, "I could stop anytime if I wanted to." But...if we stop and ask ourselves if we want to stop being raw, it's obvious that we shouldn't. (For now, anyway!)

Hi laura-jane and spicyful...and Dara too!
Thanks for the Congrats! Today is day 26. woohoo.
Last night my husband tried nori chips...I made a conconction of pistachio, sesame,
walnuts, lime juice and spices to spread on chips...he sampled and like it. So cool.
Makes me want to go further. Support is important.
Here's looking to day 30!

Yes, the trick is to get our husbands involved...

My husband loves raw food too, but he eats a lot more than me, which frustrates me! I try to ration my dehydrated food... lol. I think I am a selfish person! "No, you can only have TWO dehydrated veggie burger patties. TWO!!!" Hehe. Jeez. I think I need to lighten up or get a bigger dehydrator... :)
