Here's a beet one for you..

1/2 inch ginger root
1 small scrubbed beet
2 medium red apples
3 medium carrots
2 shakes nutmeg
3 ice cubes

Juice the ginger, beet, apples and carrots. Toss in the Blender and add the nutmeg and ice.

and another one..

1 small scrubbed beet

Juice the beet and apple, then place in blender with ice and raspberries.

I have a drinking problem, and I can honestly blame it on my juicer :p

Everything I put in it comes out delicious, and I cannot stop -- yes, I am outta control!!

I want to have a drinking problem, too! (I gotta admit, that sounds funny :D )

Is there a specific formula you go by or do you just chuck everything at the juicer and hope for the best?

Congratulations on your honesty! oh, wait, let me reread that.

Yeah, I absolutely feel at my best with juice in my daily protocol. I'd really rather have green juice than a smoothie in general.

Do you have Alissa's book? She's got some dynamite combos you may want to check out. Usually when you chuck everything in the juicer and hope for the best it isn't? That's why I'd try her recipes to get you started...

Hi my name is.... and I am a juiceaholic. I drink many times a day and I cant stop. I drink all I can get my hands on. I go high and low to find drink and spend my last dollar too.

So far no one has suffered from this rawholism, but rather the opposite. I have thrived and done well. The raw bliss is the best...beats beer drinking anyday.

So am off to gather greens for more drink. Bottoms up.

Recipe shmecipe, I just toss things outta the fridge, onto the counter and into the juicer. It all turns out great, even the kids like it.

Usually we put in parsley, carrot, celery, apple and/or pear, beet, spinach, cucumber and sometimes pineapple (though I am trying to minimize tropicals that travel far to get to us for environmental reasons. Do love that pineapple though) yum!

I see them at the thrift store all the time for about $4. Go get yourself one! It might not be the best but sure beats no juicer at all!

I really want to get a juicer. Do you people find it is time consuming in any way? The cleaning or something? Just wondering how long it takes to do eg 3 juices throughout the day - do you have to clean/ rinse the juicer after juice?

I throw it all in the blender.....blend and then pour into a mesh bag and squeeze.....best doggone juice ever....blenders cost so lil and make great juice.

It takes me no more than 10 minutes to prepare the fruit and/or veggies, juice them, take apart and rinse my juicer. I do this 2 -3 times a day. The washing is NO BIG DEAL if you rinse it off right after you've juiced. I don't understand why people think its such a big deal. Unless the Omega is just super easy to clean. Everything sits on my counter top so its right there ready to go. After I rinse it and it drips dry.

I put it in my vast compost pile and then grow other plants with deep nutrient rich soil.
