Im mainly eating fruit at the moment and vegetables along with a green smoothie each day. I dont like the thought of eating loads and loads of fruit though as i am worrying about my teeth and feel it could have a negative effect on them due to the sugar. Ive been eating a lot of rice cakes lately, i really like them but eat to many and then they clog me up. Is there any other foods anyone can recommend so im not having to eat so much fruit?
Do you eat a big salad each day? My fav is mixed greens , tomatoes, and lots of dulse with macademia oil and lemon juice. So yummy and so filling.

I sometimes eat a salad, i dont find it fills me up much though. I think this is one of my major problems, whenever i eat i still seem to be hungry.
Also I forgot to mention in my opening post that its a low fat diet im aiming for here, wish i could eat fatty foods as they made me feel full up, but they are the foods that worsen my skin problems.

If you make a large salad or two with many ingredients or filling ones and/or use a heavy dressing, it should be satisfying. Cabbage is dense and makes a great addition. Avocado too. There's such a wide variety of salads. You can chop and marinate all kinds of veggies.
Other things you can make: Green soups, wraps, pasta, puddings, bars.

Fruit won't hurt your teeth as long as you have good dental hygiene. Brush and floss morning and night and swish with water between brushings. Everyone should be doing that anyway.

In addition to fruits and veggies, I like to eat all kinds of sprouts (lentils, peas, mung, etc.), and raw grains like sprouted buckwheat and oat grouts, flax crackers, chia seed puddings, dehydrator corn chips and tortillas, nut and seed pates, squash pasta and marinara sauce, raw soups and chowders, etc.

You every try guacamole?
Absolutely refreshing on a hot summers day. You gotta make it with vine-ripened garden tomatoes though. Sun ripened tomatoes are so much sweeter than anything you can buy at the store. Onions, finely diced garlic, and a some lemon juice for tang.
It's kind of like a Greek Salad. Many explosively flavorful plants that don't combat on the taste buds. Sweet tomato. Creamy rich base. A subtly sweet pungent bite. And a mild acidic kick to balance the sweetness. Heaven....

You should come over to my house so I can make you a filling salad! lol
We do low fat too. I prefer my salads to be more 'stuff' than lettuces, my boyfriend though is the opposite of me, more romaine and spinach than celery, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, sprouts, fruit. Strawberries and mangoes blended as a dressing.. good stuff.
I find my salads to be very filling. We do have pretty big bowls though :D
Or maybe I have just gotten use to the light feeling and not eating till I'm super full....

Sounds like you need some fat, e.g., avocado, nuts, coconut butter, etc.
If your rice cakes are cooked rice cakes from the store, that could be part of the reason you are not feeling full. Even at 90% raw, I was hungry all the time. At 100% raw, I am experiencing true satiety for the first time in my life.
Try eating a little nut butter with your fruit - on a banana or with apple or pear slices -- it is delicious!

Hi Revdrcyn,
"At 100% raw, I am experiencing true satiety for the first time in my life."
I feel really hungry all the time- the only thing I'm including that really isn't raw is dried spice and herbs, sun dried tomatoes (at least I think they arn't raw) and occasionaly olives. Just wonderding if you include any of these in your diet because I was thinking of taking them out to see if it made a difference. I also probably consume to many nuts I think- around a cup a day. How many nuts does everyone else consume? Sometimes I think this is what makes me hungry or really just want to continue eating or is just that I'm not 100% raw?

I found that red sweet pepper heal my craving for starch.
Worry about rice cake or any white sugar for your teeth. You will be ok with regular fruit.
Perhaps, add goji berry, chia seeds or hemp seed in your smoothie. You need to consume the good fat in order to lose the bad one. Your body needs omega 3/6. Flax seed, pumpkin seed are rich in omega 3 but research. I recommend RawSome by Brigitt Mars. It is not expensive and contain so much information about nutrients.
Also Essential fatty acids is essential for the oxygen.
Essential fatty acids can be linked to oxygen “magnets” that pull oxygen into our body similar to the way in which a magnet pulls iron filings. Omega-3 and 6 appear to hold oxygen in our cell mem- branes, where the oxygen acts as a bar- rier to viruses, fungi, bacteria and other foreign organisms.
So many people are afraid to consume the good fat. Do you know that they tried to fating up cows by giving them coconut oil and the opposite happened, they lost weight.
If you provide the nutrients that your body need, you won't be craving armful food as much and will be able to heal from the addiction.
Listen to your body not your impulse but your body.

dried spice and herbs, sun dried tomatoes (at least I think they arn't raw) and occasionaly olives.
Hi Miabella,
I mostly use fresh spices and try to dry my own herbs. I do buy organic spices at the market, but I think that is pretty common among us.
I buy my sundried tomatoes from a woman at the local farmers market -- they are dehydrated raw.
As for olives, I only eat them when I know they are raw from a grower or a purveyor of quality raw olives. Also, I sometimes splurge and buy Cafe Gratitude's Olive Tapenade which is a Live Food!
I use a lot of nuts in recipes but don't necessarily eat them on their own. Other than Cashews, I don't really "like" nuts as a snack.
Avocado is great for feeling full -- eat it all the time - and I make Alissa's Guacamole often - sometimes multiple time daily.
The amazing thing the last 24 days is to (1) actually eat when I'm hungry, even if that means 18 times a day; (2) Love the food I am eating, and (3) feel satisfied after each meal.
I am not overweight, but I have lost 2 pounds in the 24 days I've been 100%. And I eat A LOT -- no kidding! So, I am going to keep eating when I'm hungry, EVERY TIME I get hungry, revel in satiety, and trust the process.
Love,
Cynthia

Thanks for the recommendations, i shall try to start making salads which will hopefully start to fill me up :)
I really wish i could eat avacados but unfortunately they worsen my skin, i would love to be able to eat them because i love the taste of them.
Something im getting abit frustrated about is that since going low fat my skin isnt healing from acne wounds, also my skin seems alot drier. I havnt even been able to go the toilet today which i found rather odd as i usually go a couple of times a day when im eating alot of fruit. Could it just be due to the rubbish food i was eating not to long ago and its still clogged up and my body is still struggling with it?

Skin issues are normally related to digestive issues. You may need to do more comprehensive cleansing like fasting, enemas, colonics, etc.
