What methods are you using to clean out the Freshlife Auto Sprouter?
Aside from regular rinsing of the barrels and washing the removable tubes and trays, how can you get the water chamber clean from long time usage?
I've tried running it for several hours with about 20 drops of GSE and water, but there is still small bits of debris in the water. Is that anything to be concerned about?
Thanks~

I have just started using mine so have not got to this stage yet. I would not worry about debris but I think that there could be a build up of bacteria that would be a worry as it would transfer to the sprouts. Perhaps a soak in a solution of hydrogen peroxide would do it.

I've never had that problem. There is a little tiny sponge like thing in the back. Make sure that is clean...

Thanks Sport. I think I'll try the peroxide. Today my sunflower greens were very musty and moldy right off the bat and I changed the water every 12 hours.. Had to throw them out. Maybe I should have kept the seeds refrigerated, as they may have gone bad. They are several months old. hmmm.
Hey Vegan for Life, Mine doesn't have a sponge that I can see. Where is it exactly?

oops! my bad! I'm getting that and my aero gardens mixed up. The FL sprouter does NOT have any sponge! you could also call the company. AND it could be the seeds too...
