Hi I'm from New Zealand and we are holding a world vegetarian expo where people can have stalls. So my lovely daughters want to hold a stall for raw food. I'm actually at a mind body and soul expo the same weekend working as a theta healer so I'm unable to attend. We thought we might sell my recipe book I've made and also a selection of nut balls, lettuce wraps, smoothies, chocolate cake and whatever else I can think of. We have never had a raw food stall that I know of, can anyone tell me what sort of things you have over where you live for you raw food stalls?

Can't do that here because of the Health Department. First you need a Food Workers Permit (a 3 hour class and $10 fee). More importantly, you have to have a certificate that your food samples were prepared in a commercially certified kitchen (certified by the same Health Department). And you need an operator permit to prove that your food plan and equipment has been reviewed by the very same Health Department.
The cost of having the proper permits to offer a sample of a soaked and dehydrated almond to the public.. about $1000.
If you can do it in New Zealand without all the fuss that would be great fun. I would offer samples of kale chips and spicy nuts. I love to watch the faces of friends and acquaintances when they try them for the first time. :)

Spicy nuts sounds yummy never seen a recipe for that is it just a spice sprinkled over the nuts?
We are a bit limited to what we have in season at the moment as we are just coming out of winter. But the nuts may be a great idea.
