I think I had mentioned a few months ago I was accepted at one of the two firefighter schools I applied to and was a bit concerned how I'd have time to eat raw. It turns out it's making me eat even more raw than before (I hang around 75% raw), what I do is I make a huge double (5 cup) smoothie of about 2000 calories (I eat at least 3000 a day) in my blendtec when I wake up and pour half in a glass for breakfast and the other half in a thermos that keeps it ice cold (from the frozen fruits) until lunch time.

So in less than 5 minutes I have both my breakfast and lunch ready which is amazing. There's just one person in my class that's telling me it's not enough for a lunch and shows me his white refined bread sandwich with a lettuce leaf, meat and cheese and says "see, I have my grains, vegetables, meat and dairy, all in one! now that's healthy!". But I don't think he realizes all I put in my smoothie (or how unhealthy refined bread, meat and dairy is), I think he thinks it's just fruits, but I do put carrots and walnuts and coconut oil to make it a complete meal.

That's fantastic! Just another example for people who think raw is so time consuming. It can be as time consuming as we make it OR as quick and easy as we make it. Also, you have given me a great idea for my hubby's lunch ... now, where did I put that thermos??? ;)

Blessings,

Sounds like you're doing great. :)

Don't forget the greens or other high mineral foods to make it the most nutritious.
