I am about to buy a dehydrator from the US as its SO much cheaper, its the same price but in pounds here so almost double the price!
does anyone know if they will work in the UK - i realise the plugs wont be the same but if i change that will the voltage be ok?
I have no idea!
any help would be much appreciated!

My husband is pretty sure you will need to use a voltage adapter. I would suggest asking the people you order from as well, they might be able to offer more information. Good luck.

No, no! Don't use the USA Excalibur. You'll need a BIG converter to make it work. You can order one for the UK that is BUILT for the UK on their site. It's on the last page of products. Or call them for help.
It's about 10-20% higher for this -- not a big markup. I did this when I spent extended time in Hungary last year. It looks like it will be a little while before I get to be there for a long trip again, so I gave the D to a lovely woman who is enjoying it. :) Send me a private email if you have a hard time finding the info -- but it's right there on there site, so I bet you'll be fine!
