View Full Version : Green Papaya Noodles for Pad Thai

I am so excited! I was kinda getting tired of the same old zucchini noodles so I decided to try something different.

I julienned a Green Papaya (too big for spiralizer) along with a carrot and a bit of cabbage.

Then I added Alissa's Pad Thai sauce -- see photo below -- I left the mung sprouts off so the Green Papaya noodles would show.

I cannot tell you how good this is!!!!!

What was the texture like? Could you compare it to any other veggie? I use butternut squash usually but my husband finds them too "crunchy". This sounds super-good...

It was just perfect - crunchy but not too crunchy, and the flavor is really nice and mild

crunchier than zucchini noodles but maybe not as crunchy as winter squash noodles.

sounds good... I think the zucchini noodles are too soft and the winter squash ones too crunchy! :) I'll have to try this....
