I am saving a ton of waste and money by juicing stems of brocolli, spines of kale, celery tops, etc., but am wondering, is it as nutritious as the leaves and main parts of the greens/ veggies?

Oh I agree. Beet tops - MORE nutritional than the beet itself!

What to do with the carrot tops?
I composted mine, I nibbled them didn't want for a salad.....what ideas do you have for an aspiring carrot top consumer?

Green smoothies. That's what Victoria Boutenko does with them, and she gave me the idea to do the same.

I purchase stuff FOR the tops. I love it when I see a good deal on beets and the tops are huge...I get soooo excited.

I'm feeling so bad about the organic carrot tops I've disposed of now! But I just couldn't think of what I thought they would go with....
Could you give me a recipe that uses them that you've really enjoyed?
Crazy, huh, how you get all nervous to eat something you've never eaten before.....

I just juiced a ton of celery tops... cause I felt I had to. Makes them take less space in the compost(I can't dehydrate mu juicer pulp as no dehydrator) and I know they are really healthy. They are very bitter though. I added carrots and apples and a squeeze of lemon juice and they are much more tolerable... Any other suggestions as to things to do/juice with bitter celery tops?
Cheers guys *raises glass of celery juice!*

Use celery tops just like parsley...
Flax crackers, pates, etc
And salad! Chop very fine and don't use too much if it's bitter....
