I always wanted to grow my own veggies and such but I never had the means to do it. But I'm finally living *renting* a basement suit in a house and we have a big back yard. I talked to the landlord and it should be ok if I want to do something like this.
Problem is, What kind of Green house can I use for Canadian winters that is inexpensive?
ideas?

there is a great book out by a woman from maine or new hampshire on the year round cultivation
totally amazing. she did it all without electricity in the full winter months by using rock/water/animals to trap and produce heat.

Try Googling to see what they have. The main object is to keep your seed and crop warm.
