Has anyone read this book? If you have, what did you think?

Might want to read the "Rules for Posting"... Here's a couple of sections:
"....... we are now committing this board to the support of a raw and living food diet as outlined in Alissa’s book and DVD. Does this mean that you HAVE to be 100% raw in order to post here? No, but it does mean that you have to be in support of this diet and those who are striving to be 100% raw, again, in accordance with Alissa's book and DVD.

What this means:

1. No threads/discussions dedicated to “other” approaches to raw foods. This includes such diets as 8-1-1, low-fat, low-fruit, natural hygiene, fruitarian, raw meat/dairy-eating, mono-eating, no-grains, no-fruit etc. There are boards dedicated to almost every approach to raw foods such as these mentioned above. But they will not be discussed in detail here and promoted here. Again, this board is for support of a raw and living food diet as outlined in Alissa’s book and DVD. If you don’t own the book and are not familiar with Alissa’s concept for eating raw, it is stated further down below these rules and guidelines."

I had never read this book so I did not know it was not in line with Alissa's book and DVD. I only today heard about this book and was coming here for support to see what people thought of it. I have seen other books talked about on this forum so I had no idea that this book could not be talked about....

Sorry I will no longer post here since my posts are offending....

Why do people always say that? "offending". No one is offended. Just sharing the spirit of this site.

You're welcome. *shakes head*

Summer,

You post is not at all offending... it's just one of the rules of this forum is all. We don't discuss other people's raw food plans... out of respect for them and out of respect for this site.

This site is set up to discuss Alissa's philosophy. The 80-10-10 plan has a forum of it's own to discuss it's philosophy.

Please continue posting though... we'd love to get to know you better.

in light,
Aleesha

Yes. Please continue to post and learn here. No one is here to offend anyone else; rather to help learn and understand.

Other books that have been discussed are books that are in line with Alissa's philosophies and way of living healthy by eating Raw.

If you choose not to post anymore, that would be a shame.
