Still craving grapefruits....
4 small ones and 2 tangerines for breakfast.
Would like to eat them all day but having to use mouthwash after as even the sweet ones are quite acid!

Sort of grumpy today, but hanging in there. Today is day 7 for me. Tonight is "date night" and since hubby and I aren't feeling up to going out (don't really want to go anywhere anyway), I am making us a nice RAW dinner in - YAY!
Food for today:
Superfood Shake
2 Clementines
Zuchinin Pasta w/ Alissa's Marinara
Salad
Alissa's Strawberry Crepes

OK day today, didn't sleep well and kind of grumpy but OK. I'm still not detoxing the way I think I should; usually I'd have cleared my sinuses but that hasn't happened (yet for the past week or 2 when I walk or exercise my lungs get very tight and filled with mucous). I've been detoxing off and on but it feels like I'm not getting anywhere physically yet. I've been having the same detox symptoms on and off since a week and a half ago, and my weight has pretty much stalled since that point as well. I'm hoping I'll go through a major detox and start losing weight again too. Mentally and spiritually I feel a positive difference though so I'm pleased with that.
2 vegetable juices
1/4 watermelon (not organic and I could taste the difference)
Raw almond-mushroom burger
Mango Cobbler
I made some raw onion rings but I didn't really like them so I stuck them in my burger. I made a cashew-garlic-herb mayo which was awesome! The cobbler was adapted from Ani Phyo's book with a few changes and was the best raw dessert I've ever made! I'm going to try another onion ring recipe that maybe I'll like better. I hope everyone else is doing well!

Ani Phyo's Mango Cobbler is my absolute FAVORITE raw dessert and I've made quite a few raw desserts, some even pretty complicated with expensive ingredients and that Mango Cobbler is totally my favorite. Unfortunately I have gone a whole summer not being able to find mangoes WORTHY of that dessert. I would love your cashew-garlic-herb mayo dressing (or where you got the recipe if you can't post it).
Blessings,
Heather

woa... I think I missed a day... or two?
busy weekend -- sorry!! hmmm let's see... not much change.. still eating my grapes!!
Made some fooni Tuna wraps... a faux tuna salad that is fabulous... it should be in the recipe section posted by RFT Alum - TropiGal... it is hands down delicious! I'm dehydrating some applebananas ~ they should be FANTASTIC!! I made a cheeze cake Friday night - I think I already shared that. I left the entire cake there... I'm thinkin of going over there ... knocking on the door and asking for a piece!!! heheheh....
and I just ran out of flax crackers so .. gotta get to makin some more!
now the oddest thing.... I'm craving a chocolate shake. I've never actually made a raw one ... and i know it's possible so I'm gunna go cruise the recipes and see if there is one there.. if not -- I'll just make it with coconut mylk add cacao and agave and see how that turns out!!
RAWk on... everyone have a RAWmacious day!

Wasn't able to post last night as I unplugged all of my computer equipment so I could setup a new computer but couldn't get everything hooked back up because of the big desks I have to work around. It's really hard to get to the wall outlet and try to re-arrange all of the wires and cords, need DH to help me move everything around. Anyway, here is what I had yesterday.
Banana
Canteloupe
Flax crackers
Cucumbers and miso
Alissa’s chocolate cake with orange frosting
Pears
Lara bar
Made chocolate chia pudding and blender had a bunch of chocolatey goodness left in it so I added date soaking water and a frozen banana to it to make a cold chocolate drink (approx 12 oz) YUM!
64oz water total

Couldn't see a day 25!
Well, today I decided to go mono on banana for awhile. Not sure how long it will be, but have been having cravings lately and this might help clear them out. Also, things like grapefruits don't give me enough solid energy- I prefer juicy fruit and usually forget to eat the sustaining nanas.
Would like to do this for a week but will be happy if I just stick with it today!
Everyone is doing so well, sorry to hear it's been difficult lately (I've been struggling plenty!), that's probs when most benefits are happening so hang in there...

I had a stupid day, a day that ended up being totally away from home with no preparation whatsoever; like I said, stupid! So keep that in mind when you read my menu, lol!
B: Green smoothie of banana, sunflower seeds, spinach, and coconut oil
L: 2 lara bars
S: Raw smoothie from Junga Juice. It was ok and met my need of the moment but certainly NOT worth $5!
Snack: Handful of nonraw nuts, the only thing close to what I could eat at a meeting I went to and was STARVING, blood sugar felt like it was going to crash. But I have big D today and that is probably why, lol.
Lesson to learn: When you leave the house, be prepared with raw snacks in case you get sucked into a whirlpool like I did and never get home again till 12 hours later!
