Strange question...

We have bird feeders in our front yard that we keep filled with black oil sunflower seeds. Whenever the birds eat they always spill a TON on the ground and lots of little sunflower plants start coming up. Can I pick and eat these? Anybody do this?

Yes, used to do it all the time. Now don't have bird feeders. wash them first, if you know what I mean

And a Few more Vitamins and Minerals than Sprouts, from the soil. There's Nothing wrong with them.

Watch out for the bird poop!! There's always way too much poop on the little sprouting plants under my bird feeders.....we just mow them down with the grass.;)

Yes, I'll definitely have to wash them first.
Good to know they're edible.
Yummm... I think I'll go harvest some later today.

Thanks guys!
