Hi Guys!

My name is Joost and I'm new to raw food. I first read about raw food in a book of A.R.
Later when I searched the net, I found out that steve pavlina did a thirty day raw challenge and he said that it gave him tremendous ammounts of energy. And when I continued to search I found out that this was the thing for me since I also found examples where it is possible to do muscle training.

I've been looking for a healthy diet for quite a long time and when I followed the instructions from the book of A.R. I found out that it did a lot for my health. I lost a lot of weight and I ate more fruit then ever before.

But now I want to go raw. At this moment I'm reading the "raw food bible". Yet I want some expertise from others to make myself a good food schedule. Since I've found out that I only cheat when I don't have any healthy meals around the house, preparation is the most important thing for me.

Okay and now some personal information. I'm 20 years, and at this moment I'm studying economics. Since I have a lot of ambitions I need the energy to help me to fulfill them. After all food is meant to give you energy and make you healthy and not take all that away from you.

keep in touch!
Joost

Welcome.
It will be hard for someone else to come up with a plan for you as everyone liked different things.
You pointed out that you may slip if you do not have something filling in the house so I suggest that for a while you always have a raw pie in the fridge. It is easy to make one. Just use dried fruit (eg. dates, apricots or raisins) and either nuts or sunflower seeds for the base. Layer fresh fruit on top (I find raspberries or kiwis the best) and pour blended bananas and blueberry mix over that and let to set in the fridge.
There is 4 good meals in a decent sized pie.
Another thing I would advise is to always have frozen bananas in the freezer. If you come home hungry just put about 4 bananas and a few nuts in the processor and while you are changing your clothes your ice cream is making. There is a lot of food in a 4 banana ice cream and you can add other frozen berries if you need.
I always carry a few lara bars in my bag in case I get caught out hungry when I am not in the house. You may not be able to get them so from now on whenever any of your friends go to the U.S. you should request a boxfull.
